Mike has over a decade of lighting design and direction experience in theatre, television and live events. His multi disciplinary eye brings a fresh take to all projects he comes across. By summoning different facets of lighting from some of the world’s largest televised events to the smallest 99 seat theatre productions, Mike provides an invigorating way for audience’s to experience the thrill of story telling. What is most important in all of these mediums is taking the viewer on a journey built by the creative team. His work on these varied performance types have given him a great palette with which to paint light from.

Some recent design credits include The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, Britmania at Busch Gardens Virginia, For The Record's The Brat Pack, Baz: A Musical Tour De Force and Scorsese: American Crime Requiem. Mike’s Lighting Direction work is predominately based in variety award shows including: The Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and The Kennedy Center Honors.
